For a long time Egypt has been playing an important role in the Middle East and Africa.
Today, with true economic development, Egypt represents an important growth opportunity for many merchants and businessmen. In an environment of security, the Cairo International Fair ranks first among the business events in the Middle East as it became within a few years one of the greatest international trade fairs in the region. Visitors come from the Middle East, from Africa and from all over the world.
The Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT) has been entrusted with organizing the trade fair of
Islamic countries once every two years in collaboration with one of the member states in compliance with the resolutions and recommendations relating to the economic cooperation among the OIC member states.
Within this framework, ICDT will organize the 12th Trade Fair of OIC Member Countries ( OIC –Expo 2009) from 11th to 16th October 2009 in collaboration with the General Organization for International Exhibitions & Fairs(GOIEF) under the theme
” New Economic Partnership in the Service of the Nation”.
